FAANG has opened some positions already but after interviewing for one company and bombed it, I feel very underprepared and need more time. When can I push back applying to without it being too late or having my chances significantly lowered?
This depends on the type of company you want to work at. FAANG tends to wrap up hiring earlier but there are plenty of tech companies who will be hiring into next year. For the former, it’s probably better to apply as soon as you can but if you’re keeping your options open (which I recommend), I wouldn’t worry about applying in a few months.
