I’m interested in product management but have always wondered if I should be considering program management too. Are the two very different?
There’s some overlap but instead of just managing and launching products, program managers often work across various products, teams etc. They work with products, projects or other initiatives that fit into the same ‘program’. Depending on the company, I think product managers also earn more.
