there is a decent number of classes you could take to prepare you for a career in Markets. I would recommend the following:
- options pricing theory (Black & Scholes, derivatives)
- asset pricing
- Financial econometrics
- stochastic calculus (since you have a background in math) & probability
- econ classes, like macro & fed policy
- Statistics, analysis of financial data & time series, R
- corporate finance, at least a basic class
- Com Sci classes, especially programming in python
- a few machine learning classes
this list is not exhaustive of course, but it’s a good start for some interested in trading
