Most of the posts on here are on finance/tech and I’m not interested in those things. I’m an Econ major and it’s hard to find internships or jobs that aren’t the conventional ones. Any advice what to look for?

Personally I’m not an econ major but I know tons of friends who have done cool stuff with econ. You should check out things like the Fed, World Bank, IMF and even though you’re not into tech, I know places like Uber, Airbnb, Zillow and Apple like to hire ‘economists’. Have you also considered think tanks? There are also a lot of development banks and nonprofits, especially in DC, they are always looking for Econ majors.
