I’m really tired of seeing finance and tech everywhere. If you ask most people about advice, it’s like they don’t know anything outside of the world of these two fields. I don’t want to be an entrepreneur or work in the startup space so am I fucked?
Are there any options besides tech and finance that can make decent money? Or am I destined to follow the herd…
Finance and tech are “easier” in the sense that you don’t need a higher degree (although it has become more common to have masters) unlike the medical or legal fields. However you can choose other things that could earn a decent amount of money say real estate but it doesn’t have the same prestige.
The only other “prestigious” field I would add is consulting. Have you considered that? In the long run you wouldn’t earn as much money as finance and tech though.
