according to the survey of first year analysts this past year, UBS, Credit Suisse and perhaps BAML too are the worst in terms of hours worked, mental health, sleep deprivation, and poor satisfaction. JPM and MS are not bad and my impression is that certain EBs are more chill than BBs
Actually this is often very team dependent. There are boutiques that can have a lot more crazy hours, such as Moelis, Raine, FT Partners, Jefferies etc. Also various offices can also change the work culture (like Dallas vs. NYC). Unfortunately there are no definitive answers to this.
