I’m a rising sophomore in Kenan-Flagler and I know lots of people get internships at Charlotte from my school but what are my chances for NYC?
UNC may not be a top target school and it’s definitely going to be a bit harder to land an internship at a top bank compared to the top tier target schools (including public schools like UMich and UVA’s business schools). That being said though, since you’re in the business program, I believe you have a decent shot for IB in nyc if you network and do well in interviews. I would also advise that you join a finance related club on campus that may open some doors for you. UNC has really good resources and large alumni network that you can definitely take advantage of.
