I believe total comp is around 150-200k after several years experience, but it definitely depends on company and location

I think companies like faang just don’t have the upside or forward you could have in terms of comp if you were at a startup or smth. There are fewer people there and if you get lucky and the company goes public and you’ll get a huge payout
