Hi everyone! I’m officially introducing myself as the GradGuru at Leap and I’m currently a fourth year PhD candidate at Princeton University. I went through the graduate school application process myself and have helped a lot of friends apply to grad programs as well. After several years as a PhD student and speaking with other professors/students, I also have a good sense of the career path in academia and can offer my insights based on my experience. If you guys have anything you would like to ask or just need some general advice, please feel free to ask them here and I will try my best to answer them. I want to make this as interactive of a space as possible so hopefully this will encourage lots of great conversation and exchanges!

very general question, but is a masters in CS worth it?
Hello! This depends why you want to get the degree. Is it for experience, increase in pay, personal interest, etc.?
