I am very curious about Bridgewater as a company, opinions seem to always be mixed. I’m wondering how I can get an interview there as a student and what are the interviews really like? I’ve heard they’re very non conventional so how does one prepare for them?
Tbh it’s a bit like a cult since Ray Dalio is extremely particular about his company culture (see his book Principles and radical transparency). That being said it’s still a very prestigious place to work. It’s the last round of onsite interviews that are infamous for being very non-conventional, where you sit in a room with other candidates and debate philosophical questions like capital punishment.
