Due to stock market volatility, are firms hiring less? Is there a shortage or surplus of employees right now?
Don’t think so, banks actually like volatility. Even if it’s a tougher year I don’t think it’ll affect hiring
I would actually say there is fiercer competition among banks to hire the best talent. This is likely why many banks decided to raise junior base for IB and S&T recently. I wouldn’t worry about this if I were you.
Good to know, thanks!
