Books to prepare for a career in S&T

For anyone out there trying to break into S&T, below a list of interesting introductory books about markets:

  • Options, Futures and Other Derivatives by John C. Hull

  • A Random Walk Down Wall Street by Burton Malkiel

  • Option Volatility & Pricing by Sheldon Natenberg

  • The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham

I recommend to start with the first one because it provides a comprehensive overview of different asset classes, with some technical materials.

sure, for investment banking, i recommend the books below:

  • Investment Banking: Valuation, Leveraged Buyouts, and Mergers and Acquisitions by Rosenbaum and Pearl
  • Corporate Finance: Theory and Practice by Vernimmen
  • The Technical Interview Guide to Investment Banking by Pignataro
  • Frequently Asked Questions in Corporate Finance by Quiry

start with the first one, gives some technical details into different aspects of investment banking. might have the pdf versions of some of these book as well, so message me privately if you need them.
